Soon after the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) launched its first part of manifesto for the upcoming Delhi assembly poll, Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Chief and former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took a jibe at the party, saying this is “Kejriwal Patra”, not “Sankalp Patra”.
The BJP released the first part of its poll manifesto, earlier today, promising Rs 2,500 to women of Delhi every month, LPG cylinders at Rs 500 and Rs 2,500 pension for senior citizens. The party has also ensured that the welfare schemes will remain functional, once it is voted to power.
Meanwhile, Arvind Kejriwal trained guns at the saffron party and wrote in a post on ‘X’, “BJP does not have a manifesto but a ‘Kejriwal Patra’, saying that they will continue all the schemes of Kejriwal in Delhi.”

“BJP says – ‘Vote for BJP to do all the work that Kejriwal does.’ All the work done by Kejriwal will be done better by Kejriwal himself, then why should anyone vote for BJP?” he added.
Moreover, the former Delhi CM also targeted the BJP over “freebies row” and said, “Today, BJP’s national president announced that they too would offer ‘free ki revri’ like Kejriwal did…So, I would like to tell him that the Prime Minister should come forward and announce specifically that he agrees with this and he should say that what Modi ji said earlier was wrong”, as quoted by news agency ANI.
The Delhi assembly poll will be held in a single phase on February 5, with the vote counting scheduled for February 8.
