After another man’s existence was claimed by a suspected drive-by shooting in an apartment building, a person has been charged with murder.

People of Whitehorse Road reported hearing a loud knock inside the Box Hill apartment complex only before 2am on Thursday.

Several people were evacuated from the same building around the same day as a fire alarms.

Late on Thursday, authorities made arrests in the provincial cities of Talbot and Maryborough, as well as Bonnie Brook, in Melbourne’s north-west.
