The Pakistani army violated the Saturday ceasefire agreement only hours after it was agreed upon between India and Pakistan.

Gunfire continued along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday evening despite a declaration of a ceasefire as the Pakistani Army violated the agreement and opened fire in several locations across Srinagar, Udhampur, Rajouri, Akhnoor and Poonch.
The DGMOs of both nations spoke once late on Saturday night after ceasefire violations occurred.

Government sources told CNN-News18 that the Border Security Forces (BSF) were told to retaliate to the violations strongly. They said that the Indian forces are carrying out a proportionate response using similar drones equipped with loitering munitions. Indian Army sources later said that all Pakistani drones were neutralised.
Pakistan violated the bilateral understanding agreed earlier today, sources in the government further added.

Meanwhile, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah also said that sounds of explosions were heard in Srinagar. “This is no ceasefire. The air defence units in the middle of Srinagar just opened up,” Omar Abdullah said in a tweet, while sharing a video of Indian air defence neutralising Pakistani projectiles. Officials later said that there were no blasts in Srinagar.
At around 9 PM, blackouts were reported from Kathua, Kargil, Reasi, Baramulla, Srinagar, Firozpur and Udhampur in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as Pathankot in neighbouring Punjab. Sirens were also sounded in several of these cities. Blackouts have been reported also in Rajasthan’s Jaisalmer.
Drone activity has been reported in Gujarat’s Kutch district. Six drones were spotted near Harami Nala and Jakhau, and three more near Khavda. A complete blackout was declared across Kutch. Sirens were sounded in Bhuj. Surat MLA Harsh Sanghavi confirmed several drone sightings in Kutch and urged people to stay safe and not panic. A complete blackout was also enforced in Moga, Punjab. Drone sightings were reported in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir. After Srinagar, multiple drones were spotted over Ganderbal as well. Blackouts have been reported from multiple border districts of Rajasthan, including Bikaner, Hanumangarh and Jodhpur.
Twelve Pakistani drones were neutralised so far in Gujarat, specifically in the Kandla, Bhuj and Lakhinala areas. The Gujarat government is closely monitoring the situation, officials said.
