After remains believed to be his were discovered in forest, officers will use every tool they can to identify the person who allegedly kidnapped him 85 years old.
The body of father Chris Baghsarian was discovered on Tuesday night, about 11 times after three people stormed his north Sydney home and bundled him into a car.
Police believe that the old man’s sibling, an illiterate Sydney businessman, who lived on the same road as him, was the intended target of the kidnapping.
Authorities, who vowed to operate around the clock to get those concerned, were angered by the criminals ‘ reckless behavior by targeting a family member and taking the wrong person.
” I speak for not only the authorities but the general public, that we’re outraged at this developing and the callousness of these people,” said Detective Acting Superintendent Andrew Marks.
” We will make every effort and use every tool we have to identify the culprits and take them before the authorities.”
Authorities repeatedly told the kidnappers they had the wrong person and formally urged them to release the old man, who depended on regular medication.
After members of the public reported seeing a car linked to the research in the area a moment after Mr. Baghsarian disappeared, police located the remains close to a golf club in Pitt Town, a semi-rural place on Sydney’s north fringes.
Detectives have not yet been fully identified the body, but they do believe the octogenarian is the result of the forensic connections to the Dural web-site, which police have formerly searched.
