Izak Rankine, a star player, may return against the hot Eastern Bulldogs on time.
Rankine served a four-match expulsion for using a racist slur after missing Adelaide’s final three matches of last year, including the 2025 slight premiers ‘ straight-sets finals leave, along with Saturday’s 14-point circular one victory over Collingwood.
Due to a hamstring pressure, the celebrity forward/midfielder was unable to perform in Adelaide’s pre-season games.
However, manager Matthew Nicks was convinced that Rankine’s planned return date hadn’t been delayed.

” So he’s chomping at the touch. In fact, we’re trying to pull him up a little at the moment, but Izak is all set.
But, he’ll play next year, with everything going nicely this week with education and so on.
” But again, we’ve still got to teach the main program and make it through, but he’s in excellent nick.”
Before Friday night’s fight at the Adelaide Oval, everyone’s eye will undoubtedly be on the sun Crow.
When the Bulldogs defeated reigning champions Brisbane initially up and defeated GWS on Saturday, Nicks indicated Rankine could play both in middle and up front.
” I did say we’re playing, and there’s only a small amount of data,” Nicks said.” I think we’re playing the most in-form team.”
They appear to be very difficult to beat right now, so it’s going to be a challenging sport and a major concern for us the following year.
Izak will, maybe, enjoy wherever that game is.
Riley Thilthorpe, the spear, kicked three goals while also playing in the middle against Collingwood.
Nicks praised the various dynamic midfielders Thilthorpe brought to Adelaide and said he would continue to test it.
