Residents of the city of South Perth are invited to make the most of the highly acclaimed completely outside concert series Sounds in the Park and Sounds of Bunuru, which are returning for the last days of the summer.
The evening will begin with Sounds in the Park on Saturday, February 21, at Ryrie Reserve in Como, where visitors will be able to enjoy an evening of life music, family-friendly pursuits, and food cars under the clouds from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Conrad Sewell, an American singer/songwriter and ARIA Award win, has performed with Ed Sheeran and Maroon 5 on numerous occasions, including at Madison Square Garden and Coachella, and will headline the celebration.
Shorehaven, a regional indie rock band, will support Sewell.
There will also be free roaming amusement from Acrobatch, kid-friendly activities with Art Jam WA, junior makers markets, and a variety of food vehicles.
On Saturday, March 21, the next music in the Sounds of Bunuru collection will take place at James Miller Oval in Manning.
American R&, B and dancing designer Becca Hatch will headline the event, along with electropop combo Boox Kid and hip-hop artist Kayps.
The music were a highlight of the state’s summer calendar, according to South Perth president Greg Milner.
Sounds in the Park and Sounds of Bunuru are all about bringing people along to enjoy wonderful song in a cool, country setting, according to Mr. Milner.

Both recitals are smoke-free and fully visible, with Auslan interpreters, accessible restrooms, ACROD park, and route matting.
Additionally, there will be completely parking, a pleasant shuttle bus, and bicycle valet services.
Residents are encouraged to take barbeque rugs or camping chairs to sit in for the night because the events have unreserved seats.
