An Air Canada plane collided with a ground vehicle at LaGuardia Airport on Monday, according to flight tracking data and local reports.
The flight, Air Canada Express CRJ-900, arriving from Montreal, struck a fire truck on the runway, per the New York Post. Four firefighters were reportedly injured in the collision and are said to be in critical condition.
Emergency responders are present at the scene. Photos and videos shared on social media showed damage to the front section of the passenger jet.
About 100 passengers were on board the flight, and their conditions were being evaluated, the New York Post reported.
