Antoine Fuqua, the chairman of Michael, made up a photo of Jafaar Jackson with an old picture of Michael Jackson.

The director, who is 60, recalls how he was “blown ahead” when director of photography Bob Richardson showed him a photo of the 26-year-old celebrity before signing on to operate on the film about the later King of Pop, who passed away in 2009 at the age of 50.

Antoine told Deadline:” Bob Richardson, the DP, we were working on Equalizer 3 up, and he showed me a picture of Michael Jackson and him on the cast.

” And I said,” Bob, how do you look exactly the same with Michael’s long, gray tresses?” He responded,” That isn’t Michael; it’s Jaafar, his nephew; they took a check.” And it completely blew me away. He informed me that Graham King had a real desire to work on this Michael Bond movie, but I hadn’t still read the text.

” After that, Graham flew to the Amalfi Coast, and we sat down and discussed Michael,” the conversation started. He addressed any questions I may possess, and I read the text. I arrived.

During an earlier day of filming, the director was aware that Jafaar was the ideal choice to enjoy his uncle, which brought the crew to tears.

He continued,” I threw a query at Jaafar that he didn’t know was coming when I got involved on the set, and he was dancing. When I started to question him like he was Michael, I was rolling.

He responded to my question as though he were Michael, and the place abruptly ended. Dion Bebe, the director of photography, was helping out with the check when he cried in his eyes, which half of the team did. It had such power. I believed he was accomplish it.

” Because he was unaware that I was rolling and that he didn’t know I was going to ask.” I was curious to see if he could remain in the moment and act like Michael.

Antoine first gained notoriety by appearing in music videos, but he recalls a brief discussion with Michael about possible collaboration with the” sweet” star on the 1992 single Remember the Time.

When asked if he had ever spoken to Michael, he replied,” No, just a phone call when I was being considered a director for” Remember the Time.” Because I was in Italy, I don’t participate in the competition. He was a nice, calm individual.

It wasn’t so much an interview or anything like that; it was more him greeting me and telling me how little he liked my job. He seemed to be interacting with me in some way. It wasn’t a lengthy visit.
