A$ 1.2 billion defense vehicle package, which is anticipated to create 450 jobs in Brisbane and Bendigo, will be announced on Monday by the Albanese government.
The state has ordered a ship of 268 Bushmaster cars to be built at the Victoria-based Thales service over the course of seven years, according to deputy prime minister Richard Marles, who will make the announcement on Monday.
Additionally, the state is investing$ 450 million to improve the ADF’s ships of Hawkei protected mobility vehicles.
According to the two jobs, there are expected to be 300 careers in Bendigo and 150 in Brisbane.
The Victorian-built army providers have been exported to Fiji, Jamaica, Japan, New Zealand, the UK, Indonesia, and the Netherlands.
Following the start of the war with Russia, the American authorities in 2023 gave Ukraine 120 Bushmasters.
A ships of Bushmasters has also been ordered by the Dutch authorities.
