After the upsetting images from Thursday night’s match against Collingwood, Carlton has confirmed Elijah Hollands has been taken to the hospital.
The team requested that Hollands and his family’s privacy be preserved.
The Club once more requests that Elijah and his family’s private be respected, according to a speech read.
” Please do not report or speculate about Hollands ‘ location and private health information,” the media is also asked to do in this regard.
After Hollands had a mental health issue while playing, the AFL and AFLPA are awaiting the results of a team research.
It is understood that Hollands stated before the match that he was struggling with his mental wellbeing but that he was eager to play.
