Gymgoers have been urged to securely lock their belongings away while working out after a group of teenagers allegedly stole a convoy of cars from gyms across Brisbane.
Police allege the group of teens entered the gyms before stealing car keys from insecure lockers inside the buildings.
The teens allegedly stole a convoy of cars from gyms across Herston, Rocklea, Bulimba, East Brisbane, Inala, Chapel Hill and South Brisbane.
Police say the incidents occurred between March 2 and April 19.
CCTV footage shows a group of young girls walking into World Gym in Mount Gravatt, where they allegedly asked to use the bathroom before raiding the lockers for car keys.
One gymgoer told 7News that he had finished up his workout when he “noticed that my keys were missing from the locker”.
“I looked at my car spot and it was empty,” he said.
Police have urged anyone who visits a gym to keep their goods securely locked away to prevent further thefts.
“Remain vigilant when entering and exiting gyms, make sure you are not letting unknown people through the door where a fob pass is required,” a police statement read.

He was denied bail and is due to face a children’s court on Monday.
