After a “pretty emotional” Elijah Hollands efficiency in Carlton’s flimsy defeat to Collingwood on Thursday night, coach Michael Voss moved to console him.
Hollands was praised after the alarm went off during the recall, but the game was never actually finished.
A slew of videos showing Hollands stumbling away from the ball during the match were posted online as a result of the clear rating strip.
Voss claimed that Hollands had a “shattered ” figure left after the game.
After the game, I spoke with him and he said,” He was really disappointed with how he started the game, really upset, really disappointed,” Voss said.
He was quite emotional after the game, and I had a nice conversation with him.
He evidently was very disappointed with his performance because he didn’t enjoy a great sport and struggled to find his way into it.
We just need to keep supporting individuals when they are in those circumstances, despite the importance of the day he feels like letting people down. ”
Hollands had played 75 % of the sport up until the third quarter, but Collingwood mowed down the Music for the majority of the game.
Voss claimed that no one of Holland’s activities had any impact on him.
He continued,” He was clearly disappointed with himself and evidently disappointed with how he was playing.”
With five minutes left in the final third, you must work out what combination you want to get out on the industry.
We had conversations with him because he wasn’t having a great night, but we certainly believed it was best to include him out there. ”
After the alarm, the Blue had a chance to escape with a pull, but Talor Byrne, the fourth-gamer, skewed his push.
Porss praised the way his players handled the lacked option, saying he was proud of how they handled it.
He said,” It’s understanding that not everything on the young man’s shoulders.”
He probably rehearsed that 2000 times; he didn’t really certainly get the job done, but the kids rallied. You both triumph and gain simultaneously. ”
