212 citizens have been detained by police so far in a massive protest against the ban on Palestine Action in central London.

The Metropolitan Police confirmed that all of the arrests made at the Trafalgar Square show were made to show support for a prohibited organization.

In 2025, the group was prohibited from entering a British air base and apply artwork two military aircraft. In addition, the demonstrators targeted British arms manufacturers that were distributing Israeli weapons during the Gaza conflict.

According to the police, those detained range in age from 27 to 82 years old.

The Metropolitan Police stated in a blog on X that” a party is still present in Trafalgar Square and continues to make more prosecutions.”

On Saturday evening, hundreds of activists gathered in Trafalgar Square with signs that read” I oppose murder. I back Palestine Action.

As they raised their placards, many of the largely old demonstrators sat on camping chairs and on the floor.

Large banner displaying” Israel starves children” were displayed at the top of the circle, close to the National Gallery.

A gentleman and a person with gray hair were among the people who were taken away from the demonstration by officers.

As protesters chanted” sorrow on you,” police officials could be seen carrying a woman from the demonstration.

Therefore, authorities removed a person from his handcuffs and walked an old activist with a strolling stick to the police vans.

One person yelled,” Yeah, she looks like a criminal, doesn’t she partner?”

Protesters were led to a location surrounded by a metallic gate at the side of Trafalgar Square by soldiers who carried them by their legs and under their arms.

As a High Court dispute over the group’s ban continues, the force announced in March that officers had begin arresting suspected Palestine Action followers.

After the High Court determined that the UK government’s restrictions was unconstitutional, the officers halted the imprisonment of protesters in February. However, the decision to retake the case is likely to take several months.
