As calling for the Eagles to sack Bailey Williams grow, West Coast mentor Andrew McQualter has defended the team’s ailing ruckman Matt Flynn.
The second-year instructor even mentioned the possibility that senior midfielder Elliot Yeo might make an early recovery from his most recent groin injury suffered against Port Adelaide.

Hewett’s “put a couple of ( WAFL ) games together now,” which is crucial. He didn’t play a lot of sport, but he’s a significant person to us, Elijah, and he should have done enough now to get ready for AFL football.
” I’m hoping we can get those people again to help our contest.”

He said,” He’s not going to enjoy this week.”
