With a uneven unequivocal victory over Denis Nurja, Tim Tszyu has won the WBO worldwide heavyweight title.

The Sydneysider’s win on Sunday in Wollongong assured him of a major fight with American legend Errol Spence Jr. and yet another title shot.

Tszyu won the 10-round fight on Sunday, dominating all three magistrates ‘ accounts by a score of 100-88.

Wining the WBO foreign middleweight belt also gave Tszyu his second consecutive victories since 2023.

Additionally, it earned him the WBO No. 1 rank in the same organization’s young middleweight rankings.

Puerto Rican Xander Zayas, who is scheduled to defend his name against American Jaron Ennis in New York second month, is the WBO fighter.

Tszyu ( 27-3, 18 KOs ), skillfully switching between the head and the body, landed many more blows.
