The European Bulldogs have easily defeated Essendon 34 points in a thrilling game that will come up against them in a blockbuster fight against Hawthorn.
After dropping just one goal in the first half of a listless opening half, Essendon appeared to be on the verge of a disastrous thrashing, but it responded after halftime with a more respectable end score of 14.15 (99 ) to 9.11 ( 65 ).
The Bombers ‘ lost on Sunday night also indicates that they have broken the club record of 17 straight defeats, which was set when Essendon used top-up gamers in 2016 amid their drug epic.
