A decomposed body of an unidentified 40-year-old man was found stuffed inside a plastic bag outside a factory in Delhi on Friday. The bag was discovered by a security guard at the factory when he returned to his post at around 7:30 am on April 4.
He had spent the previous night elsewhere due to mosquitoes and noticed a white plastic bag lying outside the factory gate upon his return. The plastic bag, tied with a rope, was emitting a foul smell, prompting the security guard to alert the police.

Following his call, a team arrived at the spot to find an unidentified body in a decomposed state. The unidentified man, approximately 40 years old, was wearing blue jeans and a peach-coloured full-sleeve shirt, and had a light beard. No external injuries were visible on the body.
The Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) team also reached the spot and carried out a detailed inspection and photography alongside the police team. The body was subsequently shifted to DDU Hospital mortuary.
Police are working to establish the identity of the deceased. Further investigation is underway.
