30′ DWZ grabs a double
Halasima clips Colquhoun high and the Sharks have a chance at more points.
Trindall forays down the left again, he tries to go over the top but Watene-Zelezniak snatches it out of the air and goes 80 metres to score!
He only just made it to the corner – Kennedy chased him all the way – but the Warriors get a much-needed score.
Boyd hooks it across the face again and it’s 18-10 Sharks.
26′ Iro goes over for Cronulla
Cronulla have another one and again it’s down their left. Hynes and Trindall put Stonestreet away and he has Iro inside who scores!
I thought Iro might have been held, but the try stands. Hynes converts and the Sharks are in control at 18-6.

25′ Sharks hold on
Laban goes high to claim a Boyd kick, throws out the back and DWZ picks it up to score. But we go upstairs, was Laban on the ground when he threw the ball?
He was, but the Warriors will get the penalty for Iro tackling him in the air.
Taupiki taps it on to nobody and Iro dives on the loose ball. Nice stuff from Cronulla.

22′ Warriors challenge well
Burns forces an error out of Taupiki on a kick chase but the Warriors will challenge. I think they’ll win it, Burns has control of the ball but loses it – and the Bunker sees it the same way. Warrior ball.
19′ Kennedy gets his second
Watene-Zelezniak misses out on an intercept and the Sharks will get another chance at points.
And the Sharks make no mistake – again they pick out the Warriors right edge, Nicoll-Klokstad is caught flat-footed and Kennedy cruises over for his second try.
Hynes converts and just like that it’s 12-6 Cronulla.
15′ Getting Tricky with it
Trindall holds up a pass beautifully to create the space for Kennedy to cut through from close range and score Cronulla’s first try of the day.
His good form continues. Hynes makes no mistake and it’s 6-all.

13′ Sharks let a chance go begging
Iro bursts into some space off a short ball from Hynes, but Taupiki lays off him and the cover can get to Stonestreet once Iro passes – plus they manage to get him into touch. Nice stuff from both sides.
9′ Warriors take two more
Another restart for the Warriors after Metcalf catches Hynes offside. Iro takes Laban off the ball and it’ll be a penalty, just off centre, 20 out – Boyd takes the two and it’s 6-0 Warriors.
7′ Warriors go in through DWZ
Stonestreet loses the ball in contact on a kick return and the Warriors have the first chance of the day.
Two set restarts give them the chance to build some pressure and they crack the Sharks down the right with a nice spread that ends with Watene-Zelezniak diving over in the corner.
After almost five minutes of set for set footy, the Warriors get the break. Boyd from touch…..just drifts across the face.
Warriors lead 4-0.

Cronulla kick us off, running right to left.

Tips
Gonna go for the upset here – feel like it’s a very even match, but I’m expecting a much improved performance from Luke Metcalf and the Warriors have a bit more muscle in the middle.
Should be a good one though. Let’s say Warriors 24-18 with Roger Tuivasa-Sheck to score first.

Broncos hit with spine crisis
ICYMI the Broncos paid a heavy price for their win over the Titans last night. Reece Walsh is facing a lengthy stint on the sidelines with a fractured cheekbone, Ben Hunt is battling a knee injury and Adam Reynolds has a groin problem that’s got him in doubt for Friday’s Queensland derby against the Cowboys.

Just the one change across both sides – Braden Uele is out for the Sharks with Briton Nikora coming in on the bench.
