A house has gone up in flames after a brawl allegedly broke out in a driveway in a Moreton Bay suburb.

Emergency services were called to Graham Rd in Morayfield shortly after 1am Friday, after reports of smoke and a large bang erupting from a house.

Police allege there was a “disturbance involving multiple people” at the home during the night.

It is not yet known what caused the fire or if police are treating it as suspicious, a Queensland Police spokesman told NewsWire.

Witnesses claimed to see scores of people fleeing the house before an explosion erupted inside the building.

A neighbour told the Courier Mail they were woken by a huge fire and clouds of smoke.

“The flames were big … We heard an explosion inside so nobody got near it,” she said.

Witnesses heard a loud bang and smoke billowing from the house.

Footage shared online showed enormous flames spreading across the home, before jumping to nearby trees and fence.

The house was partially damaged by the flames, with the items in the front yard completely incinerated.

White goods, furniture and other appliances that were sitting in the front yard of the house were reduced to rubble.

The rear of a white SUV was completely destroyed by the flames, and ash was scattered across the lawn.

Trees were also victims of the fire, with some burned down to the stump.
