WA wildlife influencer Brodie Moss has shared captivating footage of the ferocious winds and flash flooding that descended on WA’s coral coast at the weekend as cyclone Narelle carved a destructive path through part of the State.

The Exmouth native — who has built a social media following of millions — offered followers a first-person insight into his terrifying ordeal and an update on his wellbeing.

A clip shared to Instagram on Sunday afternoon showed Moss holding a door at his property slightly ajar to reveal the fierce winds and water currents ripping through the typically idyllic town.

“Mother nature can be so scary, she got me good at the end,” he captioned the footage.

Flipping the camera around to illustrate the panic on his face, any audio was muzzled as the wild weather battered the neighbourhood around him.

Several of Moss’ fans and fellow wildlife content creators sent their best wishes to the popular figure as he began his clean-up.

“That’s wild mate! Hope all in Exmouth are safe! Will be back over soon!” Two Blokes Fishing said.

“Mother Nature really reminds us who’s in charge… thinking of you, hope you and the fam are safe,” lifestyle creator Dani Stevens said.

Providing an update several hours later, Moss said his weekend could have ended much worse.

“Cheers for the love, we are all safe now and have started to clean and rebuild!” he wrote.

“It’s been a wild coupla (sic) days…”

Shire of Exmouth president Matthew Niikkula said power and water supplies had been cut to the town and were in the process of being restored.

“The place really looked like a war zone,” Mr Niikkula said.

Known for his boundary-pushing nature and wildlifeexpeditions, Moss sparked concern early last year when he dropped offline for months without explanation.

Resurfacing in July, the viral creator revealed he had sustained a shocking injury to his finger at the hands of a puffer fish.

Moss used the incident as an opportunity to take a “cheeky mental break” before sharing footage of the gruesome encounter and his unseen exploits.
