Following an independent evaluation of up to 14 focus targets, Golden Dragon Mining has released a staggering million-ounce-plus gold destination for its Cue initiative in Western Australia.
The program’s strain systems are consistent with countless similar granitic gold camps across WA, usually containing at least a million ounces of gold, according to experts Bare Rock Geoscience, who completed the review.
Golden Dragon claims that the company’s dominant 600-square-kilometer land bundle has been largely thin and fragmented, with previous operators frequently failing to drill deep enough to properly analyze the more than 50 kilometres of mineralized shear zones.
Despite the abundance of gold at area prospects, current exploration has not yet discovered most of the fundamental corridors at Cue.
With Golden Dragon presently releasing a chock-full investigation pipeline to consistently rank and check its targets, there is a significant finding opportunity on the table.
This evaluation “proves that Golden Dragon provides investors with exposure to district-scale landholdings in the Murchison.”
Simon Buswell-Smith, managing director of Golden Dragon Mine
The company claims that ten of the 14 targets produced have been placed in the medium-to-high variety for drilling and follow-up work, with Behring Bore and Coodardy having previously been subjected to the truth-telling rig’s most superior prospects.
The company’s maiden drilling campaign at Coodardy last year produced a number of promising high-grade, near-surface hits, including 8m at 7.3 grams per tonne ( g/t ) gold from just 20m and another 8m hit grading 5.1 g/t gold.
A 3600-meter reverse circulation (RC ) extensional drilling follow-up that has now finished, with assays scheduled for the month of October due to management’s positive feedback from that initial campaign.
The agency’s ongoing investigation in the Murchison includes the acquisition of its Big Bell SZ improvement, Jeffery Well, and Stockyard East hopes as high-priority, drill-ready goals.
Importantly, Big Bell SZ is positioned close to Westgold’s ancient Big Bell silver mine, which contains a massive 5 million ounces of gold within its schist belt’s antics. The area is ripe for more discovery because it is the only one along the extremely potential gold corridor.
Simon Buswell-Smith, managing director of Golden Dragon Mine said: “This review reinforces that Golden Dragon offers investors exposure to a district-scale 600 km² landholding in the Murchison, anchored by more than 50 km of mineralised shear zones with the structural capacity to host multiple gold centres typical of +1Moz orogenic camps.”
The Murchison place, a tier-one mine control that has produced more than 35 million ounces of gold, is where the Cue job is located.
Big users are active in the area. Big Bell and Bluebird mine are both large-scale operations from Westgold Resources and Ramelius Resources ‘ lately acquired 2.5-million-ounce Dalgaranga task.
The city continues to produce consistently high-quality discoveries, not just the appearance of these multi-million-ounce deposits, which highlights the state’s pedigree.
New Murchison Gold may provide a quick, low-risk way to output for a similarly high-grade identification if Golden Dragon strikes paydirt, a profitable toll-treatment offer similar to that secured by its$ 500 million ally.
With a clear course of action, the company intends to increase the depth of its superior Behring Bore possibility while initiating soil surveys and modeling at its numerous other targets.
The Jeffery Well goal along the Big Bell strain zone is also planning to conduct an aircore drilling program at its first-pass.
Golden Dragon is laying the groundwork for what it claims could be the next lying million-ounce-plus gold camp thanks to a follow-up drill program that is already in place and assays scheduled for early April.
