Married At First Sight star Martha Kalifatidis and her husband Michael Brunelli have been blessed with the arrival of their second child two weeks early.

The couple, who met on season six of the popular TV show, welcomed a new addition to their family this week — a baby daughter named Sunday Maria Brunelli.

Kalifatidis announced her birth on Instagram on Tuesday by sharing a sweet photo of Sunday wearing an adorable butter yellow knit outfit, a matching hat and white socks.

“Our girl is here,” she wrote.

“Sunday Maria Brunelli, two weeks early and completely perfect. We are smitten.”

In the comments section of the post, Brunelli revealed her name is closely tied to the Greek word for Sunday — Kyriaki — which is considered the Lord’s Day.

Friends and fellow influencers flooded the post with heartwarming messages and well-wishes for the happy couple and their three-year-old son Lucius.

Tammy Hembrow said: “Congrats, guys! So special.”

Em Davies said: “Congratulations, fam.”

Jade Brycki, who gave birth to her second child in November, said: “Awwww honey!!! Congratulations guys.”

Content creator Olive Cooke was obsessed with the name Sunday, saying she “couldn’t be more perfect, adore you all so much”.

Indy Clinton said: “Oh my heart. Screaming for you.”

Others hoped Kalifatidis was “healing well” and to “feel better”.

Also on Tuesday, the new girl-mum shared a comedic video of her mother Mary’s hilarious commentary during her daughter’s birth, captured on camera.

In the Instagram video, Mary can be heard saying words of encouragement such as “push it out”, “that’s the one”, “get the breath from the diaphragm” and “gonna sh.t”.

“I think Mary pushed harder than I did. Thanks for the support though,” Kalifatidis wrote in the clip’s caption.

Her followers loved the content calling it the “best commentary” and were “dying” with laughter, some even saying they’d hire Mary as a birthing coach and hype woman.

“Hahahahahahah omg this needs to win funniest home videos,” another comment read.

Another read: “I know who I’m calling when I’m a little constipated.”

“Why does Mary legitimately sound like she’s pushing. We love Mary,” a third read.

Reality TV appearances run in the Greek family as Mary featured in the 2021 series of Big Brother.
