Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Saturday asserted that the BJP would fail to win even a single seat in the upcoming Assembly elections, claiming that while the party has made some progress in the state, it remains insufficient for any meaningful electoral breakthrough. Vijayan also took a swipe at Rahul Gandhi, alleging that his political positions have indirectly aided the BJP and weakened opposition unity in states like Delhi and Haryana. Dismissing Sabarimala as a decisive poll factor, the Chief Minister said voters are focused on development and that the LDF expects a strong mandate. He also rejected claims of polarisation in Kerala, accusing the UDF of seeking support from communal forces, and emphasised that the “real Kerala story” is one of harmony, peace, and communal unity over the past decade.
