Birds vs Bulldogs last report
That’s it from the site evening
Then, with a final third to remember, it’s not a terrible Friday night game at all. Hey, Oskar Baker, hey? Had you picked him as the goal-kicking, match-winning warrior of the day?
We’ll leave the site alone for the time being, but we’ll return tomorrow for each of the three activities on the Saturday schedule. I’m hoping to see you again in the fall!
Matthew Nicks is addressing the press.

The Adelaide manager is up then:
” We were a little slow to start moving for some reason,” she said. We were probably lucky to be there at halftime. The Bulldogs were extremely good in the first quarter, smashed us in the address and beat us in the earth game.
You ultimately give yourself a possibility, which probably contributes to the sorrow. You use all of your strength in the final turn, but you are unable to keep up.
On fixing problems in a short time:
We have a six-day commitment before Geelong, and we need to figure out what went wrong. Were we a much level during the initial phase? But you’ve got to notice the criticism, they were quite good. There are items you’re not getting correctly when a group is beating you off.
On the chip-mark match format:
” That’s Okay, we may play that way. We were a smaller faster in the last quarter, but we didn’t quite get that straight in the first quarter. The criticism gave us some options to choose from, and we were a much slower than we would like. We were a little too gradual to get that going in the end.”
On Izak Rankine:
It was fantastic to find him up out there. He’d be the first to suggest he wasn’t at his best, but what do you expect from somebody who hasn’t played in so much. He had a few crucial events, which is typical of Izak. He’ll improve as a runner.
Luke Beveridge is speaking to the media.

The coach who wins comes second. Here’s what Luke Beveridge had to declare:
I believe that both teams that were behind closed doors does discuss how the game turned out to be fairly chaotic. There were many blunders made by both groups. But I’m glad of the kids for holding influence under extraordinary force in the last quarter.
” We found it challenging in front of the game, but we still managed to score,” the coach said.
On the time that was stolen:
” The tough thing for both groups was that the time stopped. There were only five days left before anyone realized what the day was. You weren’t convinced how urgently it was, so everyone was upset.
” There was a good bit of dignity in that succeed. I’m sure the Crows may be disappointed that they didn’t get, but they didn’t shy away from a contest.
What is the comp’s ranking of the Canines:
” I feel like we’ve won three game, but the matchup is still sorting itself out. We also don’t know where we are, and we didn’t for a while. We have a very difficult time getting our coaching straight and reloading for the Bombers in a few weeks because we don’t play right now.
Western Bulldogs 14:10 ( 94 ) vs. Adelaide 13 :10 (88 ) match report
The Western Bulldogs defeated Adelaide by six items in an AFL movie thanks to a beautiful late purpose from Oskar Baker.
Baker, on the run from a tight angle, slotted the match-winner in the Dogs ‘ gallant 14.10 ( 94 ) to 13.10 (88 ) victory at Adelaide Oval on Friday night.

In a strong stop to the season, Luke Beveridge’s men have now won the victories of the reigning chiefs Brisbane, the GWS winners from last year, and the small nominees Adelaide.
However, they needed Baker’s heroic lasp-gasp heroics after Adelaide’s beautiful comeback was apparently ended by return Crow Izak Rankine.
Adelaide appeared gone when 26 positions down earlier in the last quarter, but booted five objectives in a 10-minute piece to seize the result.
With about eight minutes left, Rankine outrageously put the Crows in front by six positions after serving a four-game suspension for a homophobic insult.
However, the Dogs squared results with Bailey Williams ‘ accurate snapping, before Baker’s beautiful later major was followed by a rushed behind.
Baker ( three goals ) was running at pace under severe heat but curled through the game-breaker.
In addition to kicking three goals, his teammates Aaron Naughton and Joel Freijah ( 24 disposals ), and skipper Marcus Bontempelli ( three touches, plus a goal ) each added a match-high 30 to his total.
Ed Richards ( 29 disposals ), Tom Liberatore ( 28 ), and Matt Kennedy ( 27 ), all key players in the victory.
Adelaide attackers Taylor Walker ( three goals ), Riley Thilthorpe ( two ), Darcy Fogarty ( two ) and Josh Rachele ( two ) all hit the scoreboard.
Josh Worrell ( 25, nine marks ), and captain Jordan Dawson ( 25 possessions, one goal ) were also noteworthy.

You can watch or replay the last stages of this one over and over again around.
It was done once more by Marcus Bontempelli.

The Bont had the sole role in the game when it was finally decided, but he struggled in the opening three rooms.
He finishes with 30 disposals, seven approvals, six interceptions, seven report involvements and a purpose. There were so many of those figures released next quarter.
Such a strong, unwavering, and delicate and skilled work. Certainly the best player.
The Pitbulls have succeeded, FT! They’ve beaten the Crows by six!

What a disappointing third. And you can’t help but feel that this Bulldogs part is a little different in 2026. To weather the storm that was raining down upon them in that word and to find a way to win despite speaks to a confidence and faith that only the best clubs have.
The Crows almost roughly won it, possibly should have won it, but they didn’t do enough to survive the first three quarters. It took staring battle in the face for the chains to be released, and it was almost enough. Roughly, but not quite.
Fans of the Dogs will enjoy Oskar Baker’s winning purpose. He kicked three late evening! In a sport where they didn’t get much out of Sam Darcy and a few different weapons, three goals from Baker were the difference. That and Marcus Bontempelli’s final quarter, which was second level.
Great footy!
Taylor Walker strikes the article from the bag.
Almost another bizarre aim, but Tex manages to hit the post.
Six-point activity, 24 hours left. There is a pull.
Clock’s broken once
There is a hint that the game is still in progress. Birds require two values. They are taking their special day.
And now that Walker has been pinged for using his legs in a marking competition, that might be enough.
Oskar Baker with a monster purpose! Bulldogs in before!

Will they be able to pull off the amazing avoid? The Pitbulls took a one-point result on a rushed behind, a beautiful spoil really from Butts.
But then the game forwards once more from Bont’s boot, and Baker gets the nugget while running to the limit range. He loses his mind as it splits the center and more than anything else he can hardly believe it. The Dogs result by seven and are almost home with a couple of minutes left.
The values have been leveled by Bailey Williams! Dogs never done!
Marcus Bontempelli has entered” Boy” style. At half-forward, he won the second clearance, went half-forward, and therefore charged again at the following contest, won the difficult ball there, and dished off to Williams.
His jump on the right shoe was a elegance. There is nothing to divide them after three days.
There are five hours left
They’ve fixed the clock. There are five hours left and the Crows lead it by six points.
Play everywhere you look!
Izak Rankine has accomplished a magic purpose! The Crows are in front!

MAMA MIA. Izak Rankine is absurd!
He’s been no fine evening, miles off the speed all night, but he’s just drilled the biggest blow of the day. A cut punt that caused a delay in the crowd before tipping it over the edge came from a step, full in the pocket, close to the line, 45 out.
And the alarm is ringing! Anyone knows how long is left! They will be playing nightly! Right now, it’s a complete landslide in Adelaide.
The Crows believe they are ahead, but there is a free blow in there!
There was a bell up it that nobody could speak over the crowd, but Luke Pedlar games what he believes is the go-ahead purpose.
Keays took Sellwood’s limbs out diving for the game. One of those had a sketchy one in the first quarter, but that one was still present.
Taylor Walker! Now everything is in Adelaide!

They are invincible! The Crows are winning it from the center, and for the first day all night they’ve been able to move the ball immediately from end to end.
What about Luke Pedlar? He pushed so hard onto the field that he broke two interceptions in one before giving Tex a pouch kick. Large perform, one stage game!
Another Sydney one from Josh Rachele! Seven items!
Rachele is having a fantastic final fourth here! After starting the ring, he ran so far as the middle of the ground to get into area inside 50 to get the mark.
He held his brain and nailed his set shot. The Adelaide Oval is on its way to erupt.
Callum Ah Chee has done a adductor
launching Twitter information
Ahh jeez, Ah Chee tried to double the dose in the very next play but overextended. After his heroic, goal-creating work, Ah Jeez, in the very next play, he overcommitted. He evidently tore a hamstring in his fruitless lunge to destroy.
It’ll get the second hamstring injury for Ah Chee since he joined the Crows in October. It’s unfortunate, and it poses a serious problem for Adelaide.
Jordan Dawson has another for the Crows! They are below, folks!
They’re off and on right now! Hynes bit off a dangerous blow to the center, and Ah All completely detonated through the back of Jacques to destroy the ball and get out the man.
Dawson’s torso was found by Soligo’s blow, and the captain rushed in, lined them up, and nailed the target. Twelve items.
Josh Rachele on the ground! Ravens haven’t yet been used.
launching Twitter information
It’s fairly well documented Josh Rachele has a history in the round game activity. That was a phenomenal football energy from Rachele, and it is obvious that he still has those abilities.
The group is presently starting to move because of that. The Crows you feel anything.
