Western Bulldogs midfielder Matthew Kennedy acknowledged superstar teammate Sam Darcy put himself before the team when he gave away two risky 50-meter penalties during a third-quarter brainwash in Friday night’s heart-stopping win over the Crows, 14.10 ( 94 ) to 13.10 (88 ).

After being well-beaten by Jordon Butts for the majority of the day, Darcy accepted the first 50-meter sentence for collaring Butts, and he then awarded another when he threw Josh Worrell to the ground a few seconds afterwards.

Butts allow Darcy and the Dogs off the hook when he missed a sitter as the Crows charged up before falling short, which would have been his next of the evening and his 87-game job.

Kennedy is proud of Darcy’s competitive advantage, but he thinks the 208-centimeter spearhead’s steps weren’t appropriate.

” He]Darcy is a company, but he knew he was in the wrong,” Kennedy said on this banner.
