Dennis Rodman will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
The NBA Hall of Famer, who is already a part of the 2026 group of inductees, may attend WrestleMania weekend in 2026 to replace him in the history of wrestling.
According to ESPN options, Dennis Rodman may be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in April, according to Shams Charania, an ESPN writer. Rodriguez made his WCW comeback in 1997, and infamously skipped a wrestling match to compete in the 1998 NBA Finals. Rodman has two HOFs.
WWE confirmed the news by sharing his article on their own accounts.
The then-WWF contacted him about appearing at that year’s WrestleMania at the top of his victory with the Chicago Bulls in 1997.
Instead, his staff and his competitors World Championship Wrestling (WCW) made a deal, and he appeared on both Nitro and the Unfiltered pay-per-view event in March of that year.
That summer, he made his in-ring wrestlers comeback at Bash At The Beach, taking on Lex Luger and The Giant, better known as The Big Show, with Hollywood Hulk Hogan.
He appeared on Nitro instead of practicing with the Chicago Bulls the next year, and it was soon announced that he would experience Karl Malone at the 2024 Bash At The Beach.
Hogan and Rodman worked together that to defeat Murphy and Diamond Dallas Page, and he made his third and final WCW appearance in 1999 when he squared off against Randy Savage at Road Wild.
In 2000, he would fight Curt Hennig during the i-Generation Wrestling journey of Australia.
He has remained a part of the wrestling industry over the years, including Celebrity Wrestling with Hulk Hogan and All Elite Wrestling ( AEW ) appearances in 2023.
He may join an all-star group that includes Stephanie McMahon, Demolition’s Ax and Smash, and AJ Styles at this year’s WWE Hall of Fame.
The meeting will take place on Friday, April 17 at the Dolby Live at Park MGM in Las Vegas after SmackDown.
The WWE YouTube channel hosted the event last year live streamed worldwide.
