Israeli Defence Forces on Wednesday morning launched a wave of new airstrikes, targeting central Beirut’s Bachoura neighbourhood in Lebanon. The strikes brought down a 22-storey building. India Today’s reporter Ashraf Wani brought the visuals of the Israeli airstrikes as he reports from the ground.
As Wani says, the airstrikes hit the central part of Beirut, where Hezbollah’s influence is not prominent. The place is home to several headquarters of Lebanese ministries, including the Social Justice Ministry and several others.
Rescue operations are going on following the strike. No causalities are reported yet.
