A conspiracy theorist podcaster has admitted to killing his sex worker fiancee last year.

Tobias Nuttall pleaded guilty to the murder of Alisha Lauren Hendren-Krippner, 30, who was found with stab wounds at her home on Reid St in Bassendean, in Perth’s east, in August last year.

Ms Hendren-Krippner was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital in a critical condition but died from her injuries.

Nuttall made the admission on Wednesday via video link in the Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court.

Nuttall, 32, was the co-host of a conspiracy theorist podcast called the Waking World where he discussed topics about the occult, magic, spirituality and things clandestine with a British man named Dale.

Ms Hendren-Krippner was a guest on the podcast weeks before her death and talked to Dale about being a sex worker while Nuttall sat mostly quiet during the episode.

She told Dale that she was from New Zealand and moved to Western Australia as a child.

She talked about becoming a stripper at 22, then an escort during Covid and claimed Nuttall taught her about occult practices and sex magic.

Following Nuttall’s arrest, Dale told their listeners that his co-host would no longer be appearing on the show because had been charged with a serious offence in Perth.

“It’s nothing to do with whether we’ve fallen out, it’s much worse than that,” he said.

Nuttall will next appear in the Supreme Court on April 13.
