After her father was accused of assault, false imprisonment, and making threats to kill a person, the family of media giant Antony Catalano has been shaken.

The couple and their companions in Byron Bay celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary two weeks ago, where they reside and where their luxurious beach destination Raes on Wategos is owned by Antony Catalano. Following a momentary separation, the couple had reconciled and those events came before.
However, late last year, Catalano, the owner of categorized group View Media and the executive director of Australian Community Media, was accused by Victoria Police of dragging a female around an apartment while swinging a clothing iron at her head. She was alleged to have allegedly assaulted her and left her with a broken tailbone.
The alleged target has not been identified.
In a statement, Antony Catalano said,” I am greatly afraid and shamed.” The parents of nine will be stepping down from all responsibilities for at least six times.
The committee and executive authority of ACM said in an additional declaration that it was” shocked and seriously concerned by the serious claims” regarding Catalano.

When he was the CEO of the house defined group, Catalano used a picture of Leonardo DiCaprio’s drug-fuelled principal figure, Jordan Belfort, to rile up the crowd at a Domain sales conference in 2015.
A talented, frequently endearing professional with an entrepreneurial elegance whose predilection for the good times can occasionally turn into a diversion and who oversaw a derogatory work society while serving as Domain’s chief executive, have been the subject of conversations with more than a dozen top media insiders who have worked behind, and occasionally locked horns with, Catalano during a turbulent career.
Fairfax eventually purchased the upstart back off Catalano, purchasing half of his Metro Media Publishing Holdings for$ 35 million in 2011 and the other half for$ 72 million in 2015. Catalano triumphantly returned to Fairfax in 2013 as the CEO of Domain.
He was ringing the bell at the Australian Securities Exchange four years after Domain went public with a$ 2.2 billion market capitalization. Questions about internal culture were beginning to surface beneath the veneer of Catalano’s extraordinary turnaround at Domain, particularly as the# MeToo movement gained steam around the time of the float in late 2017.
Less than two weeks after the fly, Nick Falloon, the next Fairfax and Domain seat, received numerous complaints at the bank’s Melbourne offices about misbehavior and a sexist culture. Catalano denied any wrongdoing, but he immediately resigned as site manager in January 2018, citing community concerns.

Waislitz, who is now based in the United States, is expected to appreciate the event and provide immediate guidance on ACM’s future.
ACM has sold off numerous names and reduced print output under Catalano’s management.
This masthead reported that Catalano’s arrest sparked growing speculation about the price of ACM’s printing property.
Meanwhile, former Mckay business associates claimed that his behavior has become more unpredictable in recent years, with a rise in anger. Police were called to Byron Bay last year after an encounter between Catalano and famous jeweler GiovanniD’Ercole outside Catalano’s Raes resort. Police made the decision to refrain from more activity.
Catalano was admitted to a psychiatric hospital last month after using medications, and was recently diagnosed with a mental health event at his Byron Bay home, according to Melbourne Magistrates ‘ Court on Friday.
The accused called police at his home in Byron Bay about three days ago because he believed he was seeing people leave the wooded area, according to a police officer in a court filing.
Catalano was released on bail despite the police’s request that it be denied. On May 11, he is following scheduled to appear in court.
