India on Saturday condemned Pakistan’s recent air strikes in Afghanistan, which led to the deaths of several civilians and destruction of civilian infrastructure.
Calling the airstrikes an act of aggression, the Ministry of External Affairs said that the bombings reflected the Pakistani establishment’s hostility to the idea of a sovereign Afghanistan.
“India reiterates that Afghanistan’s sovereignty and territorial integrity should be fully respected,” the ministry said in a statement.

On March 12, Pakistan launched airstrikes on locations in Kabul, Paktia and Kandahar, saying the operation — dubbed “Ghazb lil Haq” — targeted militant camps and terrorist infrastructure.
