A body has been found inside a scorched home in South Australia after more than a dozen firefighters battled a deadly blaze.
The grim discovery was made inside the home in Morphettville, west of Adelaide, where a fire broke out at about 4.40pm on Friday.
A crew of 13 firefighters tackled the flames as a plume of thick black smoke billowed into the air.

But once the fire was subdued, an occupant of the home was found dead inside.
Crews spent 15 minutes containing the flames, before taking another 10 minutes to fully extinguish it.
Details of the person are yet to be confirmed, with detectives from SA Police and fire investigators now focusing on establishing the case of the inferno.
