The peculiar bird’s chirp, a soft sob, and a distant murmur of engines were present. What was a scene of destruction last week turned into a sea of lighting for Aidan Becker, who was informed in his final moments that he was loved.
The 22-year-old’s family, Nathalie, nuzzled into the arms of her family and friends on Friday evening in a small group in front of a ceremony at Melbourne’s northern cities ‘ Mernda train station.
As she addressed a group of around 3000 individuals, each of their hearts broke as they recalled the brave son she had been compared to.

Becker’s family thanked the locals for their assistance, as well as the observers who attempted to keep her brother’s life after he was mortally stabbed after allegedly defending a 14-year-old boy.

Community organizer Faz Paton said on Friday nights that it was in his nature to defend.
Aidan demonstrated a degree of generosity and confidence that will endure forever,” Paton said.
The way he lived, the way he showed compassion for others, and the manner he responded when people needed assistance are all things he left behind.
