Police believe Nancy Guthrie’s kidnapper” could reach once” but won’t discuss a possible motive.
The 84-year-old family of Now present celebrity Savannah Guthrie has been missing since January, and Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has opened up about the ongoing research.
Asked if the abductor” may reach again”, Nanos told NBC Nightly News:” Definitely.
” We believe we know why he did this, and we believe that it was targeted, but we’re no 100 percent sure of that, but it’d be foolish to inform people, ‘Yeah, don’t worry about it. You’re no his goal. ’
” Don’t suppose for a time because it happened to the Guthrie home you’re safe. Keep your wits about you. ”
While he wouldn’t publicly elaborate on a motive, he insisted the authorities have always had a” strong” suspicion.
He added:” From evening one, we’ve had some strong ideas about what happened, and those ideas haven’t diminished. “
He didn’t go into the details, and the store noted the office is “intentionally withholding their principle and other information in the case, citing the dignity of the analysis”.
The release comes only over a year after Savannah returned to the Today show theater for a browse on March 5 for the first time since her mother’s disappearance.
