Nick Pope, one of the best UFO experts in the UK, has been diagnosed with stage 4 nasopharyngeal cancers.
Pope led what was dubbed Britain’s” UFO Desk” for three years between 1991 and 1994, while the former Ministry of Defense ( MoD ) official investigated the case file for the 1980 incident at Rendlesham.
Nick, 61, has used his X account to reveal to the earth that doctors have diagnosed him with a tumor that cannot be cured.
He wrote,” A while ago, I was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal carcinoma, following some intestinal issues,” in a blog to his 135,000 X fans. However, it is Stage 4 and has metastasized to my kidney. I’m afraid my examination and my position leave no doubt either that I can’t conquer it, even though I know that it’s kindness and hope that causes people to come up with suggestions for healers and alleged miracle cures and to use phrases like “fight it” and “you may hit it.”
What a fantastic trip I’ve had! I spent my entire 21-year career working for the UK Ministry of Defense, where I studied everything from monetary policy to counter-terrorism, defense policing to UAP. And I saved six cattle, that’s a long account! The points I’ve done, the sites I’ve been, the people I met, and the strategies I’ve been keeping a close eye on. Without it, I haven’t had made a change for the planet. After that, I had a second job, where my previous state UAP position attracted the attention of the world’s media, making me a typical commentator on TV news programs and films as well as consulting and acting as a spokesperson for different UFO and alien-themed films, TV shows, and video games. I was referred to as the actual Fox Mulder in the internet.
Pope continued to pay tribute to his “wonderful” and “incredibly intelligent wife” Elizabeth,” who he called the “real-life Agent Scully” to his Fox Mulder, the two FBI Special Agents who investigate cases involving paranormal phenomena in TV series The X-Files.
The real highlight of my life is, of course, life with my fantastic, beautiful, and very smart wife, Elizabeth, he wrote in his post. She is a scientist, sceptical, and blond in the real world of Agent Scully. We met at random in the Fairmont Hotel’s hall in San José, Mexico, in October 2010; she was married three months later. She was an archaeology teacher at San José State University. After successfully applying for my Green Card, Elizabeth and I were transported to the United States, where a new adventure began, as we enjoyed hiking in the desert, video thriller, real crime, country tunes, Sunday dinners with my in-laws, and many other things. We just spent a fantastic one-year experience in New York City, where we lived just 5 minutes from Times Square and had a fantastic view of the Empire State Building from our room window.
We proofread each other’s books and articles ( I’m one of the few battles where I fought, and I’m backing her in her ongoing fight for free speech, academic freedom, and keeping political correctness, superstition, and identity politics out of science and academia ), and I’m supporting her. One of her most current newspaper posts, which the White House Press Secretary tweeted, “demonstrates how significant of an impact she’s having.”
Nick will no longer be able to explain UFO events in his media interviews or attend live events as a result of his cancer treatment.
He intends to spend the rest of his days with his loved ones and relatives.
Pope continued to work as hard as possible (up until last week ), with my numerous film/TV conversations, conference looks, and live activities, including my position as mediator of Ancient Aliens Live, where I believe I did 94 displays. Unfortunately, I’ve had to step down from this job at a time.
Many individuals have followed my UAP job. I’m not a star, so I’m not a fan. However, I am a public figure, and some people have followed me as I’ve tried to portray the UAP debate as a defence, national safety, and aircraft issue as well as a fascinating technology problem. Nick earlier acknowledged that “keeps me up at night” due to the fact that he worked on the Rendlesham Forest incident.
The tragedy at Rendlesham UFO, which has been dubbed” The British Roswell,” took place in Suffolk, England, on December 26, 1980.
Military officers went looking for “lights” in the surrounding woodland and were confronted with a silvery, glowing build as the events took place just outside of RAF Woodbridge, which was used at the moment by the United States Air Force.
