Security camera footage has captured the chilling moments before two people allegedly broke into a Gold Coast home where a man was shot.
Two masked men can be seen on the ring footage as they approach the house on Macquarie Ave in Moledinar.
One man reaches into a flower bed, grabbing handfuls of dirt and grass, then rubbing it directly over the camera to obscure the view as the other person allegedly gains entry.
Police were called to the house about 4.30am on Tuesday, with reports of a loud bang.
Officers found a man with a gunshot wound to his elbow.
Police described it as a “targeted” attack with “no ongoing threat to the wider community at this stage”.
