One-week after the US-Israel war on Iran began, Donald Trump says America is now “respected” more than ever before as the US release stunning figures on the scale of the attacks.
Mr Trump was appearing at a Saving College Sports round table discussion in Washington and gave a graphic update on the reasons for the United States’ attack on the Middle Eastern regime and their progress.
“If I was scoring it I would give it a 12 to 15 (out of 10),” Mr Trump said when asked about his view on the conflict after one week.
“Their army is gone, their navy is gone, their leaders are gone, two sets of their leaders are gone. Their airforce is wiped out entirely.
“Think of it – they have 32 ships and all 32 are at the bottom of the ocean. Other than that they’re doing very well..
Mr Trump said scale of the battle zone and the efforts by the US to coordinate attacks across multiple countries was a credit to the US military.
“Our military is doing phenomenally – that the big thing for this week. We seem to have a new thing each week,” Mr Trump said.
“The situation was with a very bad and very sick group of leaders who were killing a lot of people. A lot of our people were being killed, they were being maimed, they were being destroyed with their bombs all over the place planted in roads.
“The roadside bombs, walking around without legs, without arms, face blasted.
“We had a choice, we could take it and let it go on for years or we could do something about it and we did something about it.
“I think right now we’re a country that’s respected more than we’ve ever been respected before,” Mr Trump added.
The US Central Command have also provided an update after one week of the conflict and released figures showing the sheer scale of the efforts against Iran with over “3000 targets stuck”.
“Operation Epic Fury at the direction of the President of the United States,” the statement says..

“The Operation Launched at 1.15am on February 28, 2026 in Iran. Iranian Ships Damaged or Destroyed: 43.”
