Police believe man can help with inquiries after supermarket assault

Police have appealed to the public to help identify a man as part of ongoing investigation into an assault in Brisbane’s south.

The man entered a Beaudesert Rd supermarket in Acacia Ridge about 7.15pm on August 26 last year.

Police say he argued with an employee and the disagreement later escalated into a fight, with the man punching the 21-year-old female worker in the face.

The man is described as caucasian with tanned skin, shoulder length dark curly hair, a solid build and believed to be aged in his 40s or 50s”.

A man police believe can help with inquiries left the supermarket on foot and was last seen wearing a red and black cap, prescription glasses with a dark frame, a beige long-sleeve button-up shirt, dark long pants and black thongs.
