Sam Switkowski, a freshman forth, has had his second injury in three years. The club revealed that the mind injury prevented him from participating in Saturday’s exercise match against West Coast.

Given that he trained last week and addressed a media conference prior to the game, Switkowski was a shocking absence from the group that took on the Eagles.

He trained by himself on Tuesday and watched from the ledge on Saturday.

Switkowski has struggled to recover from mind knocks in subsequent seasons after suffering many concussions as a sophomore.
