National skier Lindsey Vonn has revealed that her foot was in danger of having her foot amputated as a result of her fall at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Vonn updated fans on her condition on social media on Monday ( local time ), listing the full extent of her injuries, including a broken leg and a shattered femur that led to chamber symptoms in the calf.

Lindsey Vonn details how much she has been injured. Instagram deserves funds.

Compartment disorder is a risky problem brought on by severe pain, such as broken bones or traumatic brain injuries. It blocks blood circulation and may harm muscles and nerves.

According to Vonn, “everything was in parts, and the purpose it was so complicated was because I had room syndrome.”

” Compartment syndrome occurs when you have too much pain to one area of your body and it gets stuck, basically crushing everything in the area, causing all the muscle, nerves, and tendons to pass out.

Dr. Tom Hackett saved my foot, too. He saved themputation of my knee.

A fasciotomy, an emergency procedure that cuts through the leg tissue to ease the body compartment’s high pressure, was performed on Vonn.

The 41-year-old past Olympic champion has been receiving medical care for nearly two weeks in various hospitals in Italy and the United States while being treated for her leg’s rehabilitation.

Of all her previous operations, six days long, were common.

I was in the medical a much longer than I had hoped because I had a really low blood from all the surgeries, Vann said.

I was actually having trouble. I had to have a plasma transfusion because the discomfort was a little bit out of control, which helped me greatly. I turned the corner and am now leaving.

After breaking her right ankle, Vonn will now require a scooter for the next few months. She did say she was cheerful of getting on legs as soon as she could, though she would probably be using them for up to two months.

She may have surgery to repair the ACL she tore nine weeks before her accident at the Olympics. She will also need surgery.

Vonn said,” I’m going to get it right, work on therapy, observe what I can do, and take it one step at a time, like I usually do,”

” But I can’t tell you how agonizing it has been. It’s been a lot of work, and I certainly didn’t want to end my Olympics… I wish it had ended in a different way, but I’d rather get lower than consider it all.

Vonn claimed that despite it all, she was able to achieve more than anyone had anticipated.

This year was amazing and well for everything. I put a lot of effort into getting again, and it paid off. This was just one speck on the sensor. She said,” I wish it hadn’t happened, that’s the one point.”

” But life is life, and we have to accept the blows as they come,” so I’ll do my best to handle this one. Although it really knocked me down, I’m like Rocky; I’ll simply stay climbing.
