Rashmika Mandana and Vijay Deverkonda’s February 26 wedding promises to be one of the biggest celebrity events of the year, but the couple plans to keep it private. India Today has exclusive information that the South stars have roped in an international security agency to secure the venue and maintain privacy.
A source shared with us that both Rashmika and Vijay are private people, and they wanted their biggest day to be just about them and their closed ones. Given the venue in Udaipur is such a large place, they wanted to secure the surrounding well.

“To secure the perimeter of the palace, a specialised agency from abroad has been hired. They will be collaborating with local Rajasthan security to assure absolute privacy of the events,” the source shared. Details of the international security agency, however, have not been divulged.
They also shared how the planning for the February 26 wedding has been meticulous and deliberately under the radar. Vendors have been sworn to discretion, logistics being handled discreetly, and inner circles are maintaining absolute silence.
Earlier, a close source told India Today that the wedding will be an extremely private affair, with festivities beginning on February 24 and culminating in the ceremony on February 26. “It’s a very small guest list. No phones will be allowed. Even the team capturing the wedding has signed NDAs (Non-disclosure agreement),” the source revealed.
The couple has also chosen a traditional and thoughtful approach in the lead-up to the wedding. Two pre-wedding rituals have already taken place separately, one hosted by Rashmika’s maternal relatives at her home and another by Vijay’s family, marking the union within their respective familial traditions.
While the wedding itself will remain private, the couple will host a larger reception for friends and industry colleagues on March 4 in Hyderabad, as reported earlier.
Vijay and Rashmika’s relationship has long drawn public attention, though the two have remained largely guarded about their personal lives. Their on-screen collaborations in Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade turned them into one of Telugu cinema’s most beloved pairs, with fans closely following their journey ever since.
