Ally Hickman, an Australian teenager, has been taken for precautionary scans following a significant fall in the women’s slopestyle final on Wednesday ( local time ).

When the medical team assessed the Sydney 16-year-old on the sidelines, she could be seen pointing her way to her neck after falling off a road during her next run.

Hickman, however, overcame the first discomfort of the fall and returned to the slopes for her third and final work. However, Hickman had another drop on the last section of the course after passing the rail that caused her to trip in the next run.

Before being taken to a local doctor for an examination and cautious imaging, she returned and waved to the lens while waiting for her report.

Hickman also managed to finish sixth overall after posting a respectable 67.70 on her first attempt to get on the table.
