Police are investigating the death of a man whose body was found in the Maribyrnong River west of Melbourne on Saturday morning.
Emergency services were called to the riverbank in Avondale Heights before 11.30am after the man was found unresponsive in the water.
It is unclear how long the body had been in the water, and whether the man’s death was suspicious.
