The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has called off the Multi-Tasking Staff (Non-Technical) and Havaldar examination held in Shift 1 on February 11, 2026, at certain centres across the country. The Commission clarified that the cancellation applies only to specific venues and not the entire examination.

According to official notifications, the affected centres fall under the Karnataka–Kerala Region (KKR), Central Region (CR), and Eastern Region (ER). The decision was taken after technical and administrative issues were reported at these locations. SSC stated that the move was necessary to ensure transparency and uphold the integrity of the examination process.

Regional offices have also issued separate notices listing the impacted venues. The Karnataka–Kerala Region cited technical disruptions at multiple designated centres. The Eastern Region released a detailed notification identifying the cancelled venues, while the Central Region (Prayagraj) shared a list of examination centres where the Shift 1 exam could not be conducted as scheduled.

The Commission has assured candidates that the examination for those affected will be conducted again. Revised dates will be announced shortly, along with fresh admit cards reflecting the updated exam schedule, shift timing, and centre details.
