India’s massive diplomatic outreach programme kicked off today, with an all-party delegation visiting nearly three dozen countries to deliver a unified message against terrorism in the wake of Operation Sindoor.
Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri on Tuesday briefed members of three of seven delegations who are expected to meet government functionaries, including ministers, legislators, think tanks and media during their visits to different parts of the world.

During the briefing, Misri explained the importance of these 32 countries (excluding EU) picked for India’s diplomatic initiative. BJP MP Aparajita Sarangi, who is a part of the Group 3 delegation led by Janata Dal (United) MP Sanjay Jha, also attended the crucial meeting.
Following the meeting, Sarangi stated that the Foreign Secretary informed them that all the countries the Indian delegation is visiting are members of the United Nations Security Council (UNSC), the UN body responsible for maintaining international peace and security. She added that five more countries will become UNSC members in the coming days, while the remaining countries hold significant importance as their voices are influential on the global stage.
The MP also condemned Pakistan’s promotion of terrorism and emphasized that India stands united in sending a strong message against terrorism.
She also hit out at Pakistan for peddling a fake narrative that India attacked civilians during its precision strikes targeting terrorists. “It is baseless to say that we attacked Pakistani civilians. With great precision, we did our work,” she said.
