Despite his “brutal” sacking at Nottingham Forest, Australia’s leading sports director also believes he’ll do his career-best work at his next job, Ange Postecoglou is convinced that his drive and ambition remain intact.
The 60-year-old acknowledged that he would have felt it impossible he may end up watching TV as the two Premier League clubs that had dumped him left to avoid fall after being fired from Tottenham and Forest in the past year.
Postecoglou has, however, maintained his self-assurance, promising that his resolve to return after the negative views has just strengthened.
In an interview with SEN 1116, he admitted he had no idea when and where his profit would take place and that he had not yet “scraped the surface” of his goals for the sport I wanted to play.
