Despite his “brutal” sacking at Nottingham Forest, Australia’s leading sports director also believes he’ll do his career-best work at his next job, Ange Postecoglou is convinced that his drive and ambition remain intact.
The 60-year-old acknowledged that he would have felt it impossible he may end up watching TV as the two Premier League clubs that had dumped him left to avoid fall after being fired from Tottenham and Forest in the past year.
Postecoglou has, however, maintained his self-assurance, promising that his resolve to return after the negative views has just strengthened.
In an interview with SEN 1116, he admitted he had no idea when and where his profit would take place and that he had not yet “scraped the surface” of his goals for the sport I wanted to play.
” I want to get things also. That hasn’t changed. I still have that drive and devotion to succeed. The fact that this is my first bad knowledge, only adds more fuel to my fire.
” Wherever I go in, there will be a lot of skepticism,” I warned. That is fantastic, and I need it. Find the boots, reattach the hat, and work really hard.
I have this idea in my head that this will be the best one I’ve done so far, because I know whatever it is going to get. I recently had some activities; I might have needed them.
You can’t always be effective and flying high. Maybe you just need to take a few swipes.
” I’m not done already, mate!” There is still a little work to be done. “
Postecoglou admitted that despite winning the Europa League that, he was very soon to take over the Forest career following his dismissal at Spurs.
It didn’t work out, they said. I don’t care about that because it’s likely to hurt me reputation, especially here in the EPL.
It didn’t affect me as a man or sport manager in any way. It inferred from my experience that I should seek guidance second day before I get too slack. “
His disastrous 39-day tenure at Forest came to an “brutal” end, if, as he was only informed of his sacking by Chelsea’s 3-0 homecoming loss and escaped in his car.
I was stuck at the intersection for 15 hours while Chelsea fans gave it to me, Bush fans weren’t all that kind, and then I had little kids asking for a picture! Postecoglou grinned.
I made a repentance, I said. I paid a lot of money.
I’ve had 28 incredible times, though it may have had an impact on me at a unique time in my life. Items that I never would have imagined. I had a terrible couple of months. Who cares, truly? “
